About Us

As a boy, I have always loved fixing things, so the fact that my father owned a home remodeling business, and I was able to go to work with him starting at an early age (I was homeschooled) was definitely a highlight of my childhood. Repair knowledge is not enough without experience, and I have almost two decades of experience. I have fostered all the skills you need for household repairs and improvements. 

I started doing projects for friends and family while working as a civil construction estimator. Story after story of honest families being taken advantage of by handymen, contractors, and tradesmen, left me with a desire to help. I started working more nights and weekends as friends and family shared my contact information when they knew someone with a need or had a job that was unfinished, unsafe, or unsatisfying. 

Before long, I was getting more requests and decided that my passion lies in this business, and Schnackenberg Craftsman was born! I may not be the lowest quote you receive, but along with your beautiful, finished project you will have peace of mind that the job was completed correctly and to your satisfaction the first time. With Schnackenberg Craftsman, there is never a need to pay for a service multiple times due to incompetency.  

Today, I have a three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter and I cannot wait to give them the skills and confidence that come with learning a trade!
